2022 Summer Composition Intensive Overview 

This will be our 9th summer!

Dates: Monday July 11 AM-Sunday July 24 midday

Resident Faculty: Zae Munn and Josh Marquez

Guest Faculty: Mary Ellen Childs, Michael Fiday, Dalia Chin

Instructional Fee: $700 

What will be new:

• ​​A full day right in the middle of the Intensive without anything scheduled (laundry day, beach day, tourist day...)

• Enrollment capped at 14 instead of 16

• A longer stretch of days to sketch for the instrumentalist

• Fully completed rehab of our building, including central air and high-end air filters in all classrooms, offices, and practice rooms.

Housing options: homestay, dorms, Inn at Saint Mary's, cost varies with selection

What will return:

• 6 private lessons

• 5 presentation/workshop/masterclass combos

• Social time with faculty via lunches, dinners, and scheduled social events

Application period: begins Feb. 1, ends Apr. 1. International students should contact Zae Munn for early application option to allow time for visas.
